It is, perhaps, the greatest gift to be able to expel the profound thoughts of one's mind onto paper, to make them a tangible thing.
It's amazing how the thoughts of my mind flow far more eloquently onto paper than they do out of my mouth. If someone asked me to describe my mind I would have to say it's like standing on a platform with words zipping by you at lightening speed and I can see those important words, the ones that I want so desperately to capture and form into beautiful sentences slowly slipping out of my grasp. I close my eyes and slow down these words with an insurmountable hope that I can hold onto the important thoughts long enough to put them on paper.
