It is, perhaps, the greatest gift to be able to expel the profound thoughts of one's mind onto paper, to make them a tangible thing. It's amazing how the thoughts of my mind flow far more eloquently onto paper than they do out of my mouth.  If someone asked me to describe my mind I would have to say it's like standing on a platform  with words zipping by you at lightening speed and I can see those important words, the ones that I want so desperately to capture and form into beautiful sentences slowly slipping out of my grasp. I close my eyes and slow down these words with an insurmountable hope that I can hold onto the important thoughts lo

This year has definitely been a turning point in my life. I have spent many hours looking at past choices and trying to decide where I want my future to go. Though many things are still up in the air for me I feel like it is finally time for a new beginning; time for me to discover exactly who I am and explore areas of my life I thought might always remain hidden to me. I know the road ahead of me won't be easy but that is half the fun...overcoming obstacles I didn't think I could and coming out stronger on the other side. I am excited to see where the future takes me and what journeys lay ahead.

Sometimes the most ordinary things are the most beautiful. When you take the time to really observe and appreciate everyday things you often find yourself entranced with something you have never noticed before.
